Hemos puesto en hora y recalibrado el reloj de la deuda pública española de EUROSCI Network, a partir de los datos de deuda pública recientemente publicados por el Banco de España para el primer trimestre de 2020. Se acelera el crecimiento de la deuda, rozando ya los 26.000 euros por habitante.
Today the University of Benghazi has joined as a partner of the EUROSCI Network. This University, located in Benghazi, historical capital of Libya, is the oldest higher education institution in the country. It is also one of the two biggest universities in Libya by student registration numbers, with around 70,000 registered students in 2020.
Sebha University has joined today as a partner of the EUROSCI Network. This is one of the most important expansions in the history of the EUROSCI Network, not only because the University of Sebha is among the three best universities in Libya, a leader in education in Africa, but also because Sebha is a bridge to Sub-Saharan Africa. Sebha University has campuses in Sebha, Oubari, Gatt, Brrak, Tregan, Zouwailah, and, outside Libya, N'Djamena in Chad.
Second partner in Brazil and third one in South America
Universidade Metodista de São Paulo has joined today as a partner of the EUROSCI Network. It thus becomes the 22nd partner university of the network, the second one in Brazil and the third one in South America. The University is particularly strong in the fields of communication and theology, and will reinforce the Network in those areas.
The EUROSCI Network offers up to 10 scholarships for its intensive course in Online teaching in international higher education starting 6 July 2020. Scholarships are reserved for teachers at EUROSCI Network partner institutions, with a limit of one scholarship per institution. Applications should be submitted to local EUROSCI Network co-ordinators by 30 June.
