The European Commission has approved the Final Report of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Political Economy - Catedra de Europeism Stiintific held by Diego Varela at Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi. The final European Union grant for the above project has been established at EUR 44,505.00.
A group of students led bt Valentyna Bohatyrets in Chernivtsi have posed with their new certificates of the Jean Monnet Open Online Course of European Integration. The 42-hour course was offered by Alexandru Ioan Cuza University as part of its Jean Monnet Chair in European Political Economy co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The course was made available through the EUROSCI Network, and more than 50 students successfully completed it at the Universities of Iasi and Suceava in Romania, and the universities of Chernivtsi and Odessa in Ukraine.

We are getting ready for the third edition of the Jean Monnet Open Online Course of European Integration, whose lectures are due to start in October. Valentyna Bohatyrets of Chernivtsi National University has been the fastest in getting her students registered, with 20 students in her group. Our traditional group in Chernivtsi led by Iryna Tkachuk is also foreseen, and we also know that there are colleagues trying to put groups together in Zhytomyr and Odessa. All these will join our traditional groups of students in Suceava and Iasi.
The EUROSCI Network is selecting class teachers for the Jean Monnet Open Online Course of European Integration offered as part of the activities of Jean Monnet Chair in European Political Economy created by Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The course will run through the first semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, have a teaching load of 42 hours, and an academic value of 6 ECTS credits. The network has currently ten university websites in six different countries: Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Italy, Portugal and Spain. A couple of other university websites are expected to join in in the following days or weeks.
EUROSCI Network will offer free EU-related courses for students in India, as part of the activities of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Political Economy at the University of Iasi. The first such course will be the Jean Monnet Open Online Course of European Integration, in the second semester of 2016-17 (February-May). The course is promoted internationally with the help of the EUROSCI Network and there are already students registered from four different countries.
