About the University:
Politécnico do Porto is a higher education institution located in Porto. It was founded in 1985 and has around 18,000 students. In 2016, Politécnico do Porto presented it new official image, according to which it becomes to be referred to as P.PORTO. The change is accompanied by a reformulation of its teaching offer, with the creation of two new schools: Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo and Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design (both in its Campus 2 located in the conurbation of Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim).
