About the University:
This public university is currently the largest in Libya, with more than 70 thousand students distributed across twenty different faculties. Its history dates back to 1955, with the foundation of the University of Libya and the subsequent creation of a faculty of science in Tripoli in 1957. In 1973, the University of Libya was split in two, giving birth to the current universities of Benghazi and Tripoli.
